Daiwa SLP Works Spinning Reel Stand S · Silver / Green

A reel stand screws in where the handle cap was and lets the reel sit on its own foot instead of face-down on the rotor or the handle. That sounds like a small thing right up until you put an eight-hundred-dollar reel down on a barnacled rail. Fitting takes seconds — pull the handle cap, screw this in, done.

SLP Works is Daiwa's own tuning arm, so the thread is exact and the anodising matches Daiwa's own finishes rather than approximating them. This is the silver and Emeraldas green colourway — the green is the Emeraldas series colour, which is the point if you are building an eging setup around it.

Fits: 22 EXIST (incl. SF), 23 AIRITY (incl. SF), 21 L.AIRITY, 24 CERTATE, 19 CERTATE, 24 LUVIAS (except SF), 20 LUVIAS, and 25 EMERALDAS AIR — among others. If you run a 24 LUVIAS SF you need the Stand S II instead, not this one.
