Built after deps pro staffer Kazz Uyama decided a spinnerbait could take the monster freshwater fish he chases around the world — and then spent years failing until it could. Nothing on this bait is standard, and every part of it exists because something broke on the version before it. deps rate it, in their own words, for fish over 20 kg.
Closed eye + line guard
The line eye is fully closed, so a hard fight cannot slide the knot down the arm and bend or snap it — and it takes the wire leader and snap that monster fishing demands. A 0.45 mm guard wire stops the arm deforming and keeps line out of the eye's crossover.
B-Custom head
Based on the B-Custom head that already has a long list of big-bass results behind it, rebalanced for the heavier wire and #5 blades. It tracks upright at speed instead of rolling out.
#9/0 heavy-wire hook
A long-shank hook in heavy wire, sized to survive a twenty-kilo fight rather than a bass. This is the part most spinnerbaits give up on when the fish gets serious.
1.5 × 0.5 mm flutter skirt
Cut wide in silicone so it holds water and keeps breathing at rest. There is also a skirt holder for adding a trailer, and the whole assembly survives fish with real teeth.
1.5 oz and 1 oz
Both run #5 blades front and rear on 1.2 mm hard stainless, with a 99 mm upper arm and a long 54 mm lower arm to keep those blades thumping. We stock #01 Kurokin in 1 oz and #04 Water Dragon in 1.5 oz.
