A pair of pliers that lives on the belt for estuary, rocks and the boat — not in the bottom of a crate. Gomexus machines the Exoskeleton from 17-4PH stainless, then cuts the body back so it sits around 132 g. That is the point: alloy-pliers weight, with the rust resistance salt actually asks for.
The jaws do the jobs you otherwise carry three tools for. Tungsten carbide cutters for PE braid, fluoro and mono. A split-ring nose that covers #1–#5 rings, so you can swap trebles on stickbaits and metals without digging for a second tool. Serrated hook remover, wire-bending slots and shot/barb crimpers sit in the same jaw. Spring-loaded, one hand.
Replaceable tungsten cutters
Anvil-style carbide blades. They bite PE braid clean instead of chewing it into a whisker, and they come off when they dull — you replace the cutter, not the whole plier.
Skeletonized 17-4PH body
CNC-cut unibody in 17-4PH stainless, salt-spray tested to 168 hours. 4.7 oz / 132 g so it does not drag on a PFD or belt all session, and the jaws do not fold up under load the way cheap stamped pliers do.
Holster kit in the box
Moulded quick-draw sheath with belt clip, coiled steel-core lanyard and aluminium carabiner. Clip it off before it goes over the gunwale.
