These are centre-cut — the joint sits mid-blank rather than at the grip — and the taper is cut so the action runs through it without the flat spot most travel rods have. Both models are 6'5, pack to 101 cm, and come with a neoprene rod bag. It lives behind the car seat rather than in the shed.
RVII-S65L/2 — Light
86 g, rated 2.5–6 lb or PE #1.0. Regular-fast: loads deep enough to cast weightless plastics, recovers fast enough to set a hook at distance. For bass, trout and estuary bream on light gear.

RVII-S65UL/2 — Ultra Light
Same blank cut softer and lighter at 80 g, rated 2–4 lb. The finesse end: weightless worms, 1 g jig heads, small hardbaits, and the sort of fishing where a stiffer rod pulls hooks out of soft mouths. For trout in the Goulburn, or anywhere the fish have seen everything.
