SOULS Chap 55 Sinking Minnow 5.5 g
Chap 55 is the deep-and-fast answer in the SOULS stream range: 55 mm, 5.5 g, and a sink rate quick enough to have you in the bottom third of the water column almost as soon as it lands. The oversized lip is the design point — it bites into current from any casting angle, up, across or down, and holds the lure down instead of letting it pop to the surface the way most stream minnows do on a fast swing. Retrieve it straight for a stable wobble; twitch it and it rolls hard and flashes. SOULS built it around a simple observation: the 30 cm-plus yamame and 40 cm-plus iwana got that big by being wary, and you have to work the exact depth band they hold in to beat them.
