SOULS Namusan 5 Sinking Minnow
Namusan earned its reputation on cherry salmon; the 5 is the version SOULS shrank down for mountain streams. On a straight retrieve it runs with a hard, fluttering wobble that pushes a real pressure wave — more than a 50 mm minnow should — and a twitch makes it roll and flash. The part that matters in moving water is that it resists blowing out: on a down-and-across swing, where most light minnows skate to the surface, this one keeps swimming and keeps appealing. Same 50 mm body in both weights; pick by how much water you need to cover.
3.7 g — medium sinking
For shallower or slower pools, where you want the lure working rather than dropping. Available in all six colours.
4.5 g — sinking
That extra 0.8 g buys distance when you need to reach the head of a pool without spooking it, and depth in the faster, deeper water where the better fish sit. If you fish bigger water or heavier flow, start here. Four colours (#14–#17).
