VARIVAS Casting PE SMP Hiramasa Tune X8 200m
The Hiramasa Tune takes VARIVAS's SMP casting braid and refines it with feedback from anglers who chase nothing but kingfish. The big change is the new STC-W coating, Smooth Tech Coating re-engineered for PE, layered with a resin coat. It holds its effect far longer than a standard finish, so the line resists the salt-crusted stickiness, fading and fuzzing that creep in after a few hard sessions, and keeps peeling cleanly through the guides for distance.
Fewer tangles, lower profile. The smoother surface dramatically cuts wind knots and guide wraps when you're firing stickbaits all day, and the purple colour is low-visibility for line-shy kingfish over clear reef. #8 at 200 m is a natural fit for a 14000–18000 class spinning reel on the big yellowtail grounds of NSW, Lord Howe and New Zealand-bound trips.
