Where the K is built around the fall, the LIVE is built around the dart. A slim nose, a tin Blade Sinker and a low centre of gravity mean every rod flick turns into a sharp sideways kick, so you can fire the jig around like a fleeing baitfish without wearing your wrist out by midnight. That erratic movement is deadly on southern calamari holding over weed and reef, and it pulls arrow squid in open water too.
Quick Dart
Same wide dart as the old Q LIVE, but 33% less forward travel per jerk. On a 50 m cast that is 200 actions instead of 150 — fifty more chances per cast, and the jig hangs in the strike zone instead of shooting straight past a following squid.
Blade Sinker
Redesigned from scratch in tin, shaped to slice water like a blade rather than shoulder through it. This is the part doing most of the work in the dart. Guide holes in the flank let experienced anglers run their own weight tune.
Low centre of gravity
The mass sits lower than the previous LIVE, which sharpens the dart and steadies the jig in flight — so a long cast into a headwind still lands nose-first instead of tumbling.
490 Glow eyes. The eye cups glow at 490 nm, the wavelength squid perceive most brightly, giving one hard point of contrast at dawn, dusk and through the night. Double-crown stainless hooks and lamé cloth finishes throughout.
