Daiwa Emeraldas Dart LC Squid Jig

The Emeraldas Dart LC is Daiwa's mainstream egi — the one they describe as "the middle of the road", meaning the jig you tie on when you have no reason to tie on anything else. It is built for covering water: a magnetic shifting weight slides to the tail on the cast so it flies well past where a standard egi lands, then locks forward for a crisp, wide dart on the rip. The slim, balanced body kicks side to side with very little rod effort, which is what you want for the whip-whip-sink cadence over weed and reef edges where southern calamari sit.

Colours. Ten patterns spanning four body types — gold and red for general appeal and silhouette, keimura for UV reaction in daylight, and yakou / glow (including blue-glow and pink-glow) for night work.
