VARIVAS Expert Stillwater FHT Tapered Leader 14ft

Lake fishing rewards one clean, fast cast at a cruising fish, and the Expert Stillwater FHT is built for exactly that shot. Its Front Heavy Taper pushes the mass forward so the leader turns over big dries, heavy nymphs and streamers with authority, even straight into the kind of breeze that blows across Great Lake, Arthurs or Lake Eucumbene most afternoons. A multi-step compound taper keeps the loop stable, so you spend less time false casting and more time with the fly in front of a fish you've spotted.

Smart Connect butt. The butt is designed so the fly-line-to-leader knot comes out smaller and slides through the guides cleanly. Sepia-green butt, clear tippet, and Smooth Tech Coating for a supple, water-shedding finish.
