The Standard ST Fluorocarbon replaces VARIVAS's long-running All Purpose fluoro leader with a new taper and more sensitive material. Fluorocarbon transmits even short, subtle takes, and the stiff butt drives over big streamers, saltwater flies and weighted nymphs, which makes it the leader to run on a sinking line. In the heavy −2X it's well suited to streamer work on big lake browns and to estuary and flats fishing, where abrasion resistance counts.

Built tough. A 40% butt, 40% taper and 20% tippet layout, an SP-T coating that cuts water absorption and adds abrasion resistance, and a NON coating to hold strength, all in a stealthy natural colour.
