VARIVAS Standard ST Nylon Tapered Leader 9ft

The Standard ST is VARIVAS's all-rounder, the 9-foot leader you can put on and forget about whether you're on a freestone stream, a lake edge or chasing bream and flathead on the flats. The renewed version uses a re-engineered nylon with Smooth Tech Coating, so it's noticeably more supple and lasts longer than the old standard, and the butt diameter is now matched more finely to each tippet size for a smoother transfer of energy into the turnover.

Camouflaged. A misty-green butt fades against weed and streambed, while the natural clear tippet section disappears at the fly. Easy enough for a first leader, refined enough that experienced anglers keep a few in every pack.
