VARIVAS Super Tippet Master Spec PRO Fluorocarbon Tippet 50m
Fluorocarbon tippet usually asks you to trade presentation for stealth: it sinks and it's near-invisible, but in the fine sizes it's springy, coils off the spool and kicks a dry fly sideways. Master Spec PRO is VARIVAS's answer. It takes the stiffness out of 5X–7X, the diameters you actually use for dries, while keeping fluoro's abrasion resistance and straight-line strength. Fish it on a dry over clear, glassy pools, or on a nymph and streamer rig where the fly needs to get down and the leader has to survive rocks and snags.
Supple, straight and strong. It comes off the spool straight, resists curls and kinks, and holds proven knot strength, so it works as hard on a wet or streamer as on a dry. The Smooth Tech Coating, a PFOA-free water repellent, cuts friction and water absorption for longer life.
Kept like new. The PROTECTION PACK blocks UV and moisture between trips, and a patented marker warns when 10 m is left.
